In 2016 Freehold Township along with the Freehold Heritage Society sponsored the opening of the Oakley Farm Community Garden located at the historic Oakley Farm in Freehold Township. Oakley Farm had a long history of being one of the most prominent farms in the area and once again vegetables are being grown on the property. 46 gardeners raise produce for their own families each season by renting a small garden plot in the garden. We learn about vegetables and develop friendships and become neighbors - Please Come Grow with US!

We have two size gardens available 4x10ft at $20 and 4x20ft at $35. The season runs from March to November. Along with the fee above we require a $20 security deposit which is refundable at the end of the season if the garden is returned in good shape.
